Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My husband, the skeptic, has suffered from knee and joint pain from years of baseball, basketball, golf, and grandchildren. He has had his knees scoped and scraped, and he has taken all sorts of prescription anti-inflammatory drugs with minimal relief.

At 61 my husband still plays basketball three times per week and golf as often as he can. He needs his knees to feel good! And the grandsons need him too.

So I suggested what we now call the "Troy Blend". My husband keeps a bottle by his chair, his bed, and his glove compartment, and he applies a few drops as needed. It has been so effective that we have given many many bottles to friends and family with equally rave reviews. So here is the recipe. Let me know how it works for you!

In a 10-ml roller bottle, mix the following to create the "Troy Blend":

* 20 drops Wintergreen

* 20 drops Peppermint

* 20 drops Copaiba

Then fill the rest of the bottle with a carrier oil of your choice. Use as needed, especially before bed and before exercise.

Blessings to you as you use what you have been given!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
