Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
A few days ago my son woke up with Popeye arms. Both forearms were swollen with what looked like sting marks. Interestingly, he had been symmetrically stung on the same spot on each arm.
It was then that my son finally thought to tell me about feeling something sting him while playing in a field the day before. Because it did not hurt much or itch for very long, he had forgotten to tell me until the next day.
The swollen areas were hot to the touch, and it felt like there was a harder lump under the skin. Upon closer inspection, I could just make out two pricks -- fang marks -- at the top of each swollen area.
Fearful it might be a brown recluse spider bite, I slathered my son's arms in Purification, followed by Lavender and then Peppermint to drive those other essential oils in more deeply. After doing this a few times, I ran across information that Roman Chamomile was anti-venomous, so I put a few drops of that on a gauze pad and wrapped his arms.
After a few hours the swelling was noticeably reduced, and the fang marks were much more obvious. I continued to use Purification on gauze and wrapped my son's arms a few more times during the day. And I also put Thieves on his feet a few times.
My son thought that I was overreacting, but he tolerated my dealing with this aggressively. I resisted the urge to show him what brown recluse spider bites *can* look like.
By the third day the swelling was completely gone, as well as the harder lumps under the skin.
