I just learned a few weeks ago that, to keep mice and rodents out of an area, apply a few drops of Peppermint oil on cotton balls and place them around. Rodents hate the smell and remember to simply avoid the area.

My car is always parked outdoors and I have had an ongoing battle with rats nesting under the hood, chewing on wires, and the excrement that they leave behind.

Since using Peppermint oil I have not seen a sign of a rat in several weeks. The same for mice nesting under the washing machine on the back porch.

A nasty health risk avoided with a few drops of Peppermint oil. Amazing!
