Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

My son-in-law developed a high fever of 103 degrees this week. I did a search for testimonials on fevers and saw that Peppermint was the essential oil used most successfully.

The majority of the testimonials seemed to be regarding children and advocated using Peppermint on the feet every 2 hours. However, one testimonial author said that they used it every 30 minutes for 2 hours with good results, and I assumed this was an adult.

Since the fever was so high, I gave my daughter some Peppermint essential oil and told her what the testimonials said. She used it on her husband every 30-40 minutes. I ran it by their house around 7:30 or 8 a.m., I believe, and they had an appointment at their doctor's office at 10:30 a.m.

My daughter reported to me that within 45 minutes his fever was down one full degree. After 90 minutes it was normal, and, by the time he got to the doctor's office, his temperature was actually recorded at 97 degrees.

With all his vomiting and other symptoms, the doctor was amazed that my son-in-law had no fever. Unfortunately, all he could tell his doctor was that his wife put "something" on his feet, because he had been so out of it that he had not known what she had used.

We laughed afterward about how, in his semi-delirious state, my son-in-law had been irritated at how she was tickling his feet when she was applying the Peppermint. He had no idea what she was doing!
