Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My 8-year-old daughter has severe eczema. Whenever her skin becomes dry, the skin becomes cracked and itchy.

Often she scratches until the eczema has worsened and resulted in an infection, commonly referred to as "weeping eczema", which consists of pus-filled blisters that are wet and oozing -- basically, they "weep". (Infections like this happen most often when children continually scratch the itchy areas of their skin.)

Whenever the blisters weep, we first clean them with a solution of sea salt dissolved in water. Then we use the following recipe:

* 5 drops of Lavender essential oil
* 5 drops of Frankincense essential oil
* Organic coconut oil

We make a mixture by diluting the coconut oil with the essential oils above. We apply this mixture topically every morning and before bed. And at noon we often apply the Melrose essential oil blend neat (undiluted) as well.

We have our daughter consume more probiotic foods like yogurt to have better immunity. We also have her avoid dairy and red meat.

After recovering from the weeping eczema, we keep our daughter's skin moisturized with Young Living's Lavender Hand & Body Lotion.
