Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My daughter had terrible eczema all over both hands for at least 3 years. She was going to the dermatologist regularly and had to use the strongest hydrocortisone possible to bring down flareups and then another strong one to keep it at bay. She used very expensive lotions, Aquaphor, Vaseline, you name it... at least 2 times daily and even wrapped her hands in moist gloves every night.

If my daughter were to forget to do her routine, her hands would be EVEN WORSE the next morning. STILL her hands never got completely well and looked like an old woman's hands. They were also like sandpaper ALL THE TIME.

We tried Young Living essential oils, and it took a while to find something that worked. But an essential oil combination did finally clear her up!

* 1 part Purification
* 1 part Lemon
* 2 parts Lavender
* Carrier oil

Mix the essential oils with jojoba as a carrier oil (about 3 drops of essential oil per teaspoon of carrier oil). We cannot use V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex due to nut allergies, and we have coconut allergies as well.

I also made a salve with beeswax, olive oil, and shea butter that we mixed the essential oil combination with as well (full strength into the salve). It helped her hands right away!

My daughter had a milk allergy as a baby, but the doctor told us that she would be okay now. However, as eczema is usually an outward sign of an allergy, we tried having her stop all dairy for several months. As she did this in conjunction with the essential oils, her hands cleared up COMPLETELY!

In the past we had tried the elimination of dairy along with using hydrocortisone, and it had not worked. In contrast, with just the essential oils and still being on milk, her hands had already started to clear up. And after being dairy free for just a few weeks, her hands looked great and were completely clear.

My daughter has slowly brought back all dairy except milk but can tolerate a little bit of milk at times, with a little flareup now and then. But her hands finally look like a 12-year-old's hands, and she only uses the essential oils when needed and the salve or lotion to keep her hands moist (like normal people).

We are so thrilled, and so is she! My daughter can finally have a normal life as a kid and not have to worry about painful dry hands all the time.
