Bruising of my hand

I have had a wonderful hand experience with the oils. I was loading a nursery truck with plants when a heavy metal door rolled down on my right hand. I immediately applied cypress, lavender, and balsam. The hand began to swell, then within 5 minutes the swelling went down to a very slight amount. During the whole ordeal there was only slight discoloration and slight swelling and tightness in the hand but no pain. I never applied ice, as I wanted to make sure that the oils and my circulation were able to fully work. I feel that this was key in permitting the wound site to keep good circulation and thereby keep a healthy flow of oils and healing fluids to the site. I kept that regimen up throughout the afternoon, then through the following week. I did visit a clinic to get the hand x-rayed to make sure there were no broken bones. It was a phenomenal witness to the power of the oils as all my coworkers watched the hand swell, then the swelling subside, and me continue to use the hand all afternoon.
