Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I never knew I was extremely allergic to fire ants until moving to the south a few years ago. Two years ago (before I discovered Young Living essential oils) I took Benadryl and put a topical antihistamine on my foot after being bit several times.

My foot swelled like a balloon, and it took days for the swelling to even go down. Then it itched horribly and left a scar where it blistered and popped.

On Tuesday afternoon I was bit once again. As my foot turned red and started to swell immediately, I applied Lavender essential oil right away.

After I got home, I applied it again, took a Lavender detox bath, and then reapplied Lavender oil about 10-12 times before bed, along with Purification, PanAway, and Aroma Siez. (I switched to Aroma Siez because PanAway did not seem to be helping the pain.)

My entire leg up to my hip was in pain and tingling, and my foot was throbbing. I was concerned that the essential oils were masking or maintaining a reaction that was still going on in my body. But I did not see any red streaks or any signs that it was getting worse, so I went to bed.

When I woke up Wednesday morning, my foot was completely normal... not even 24 hours later! You can still see the bite, but it has not blistered. And it does not itch at all! Prayer and Young Living essential oils are amazing!
