My 6-month-old baby has been pulling himself up on things and subsequently letting go, falling over, and hitting his head.
Well, one of the times this happened, he hit his forehead hard enough that within seconds you could see a knot, and it was starting to bruise. As soon as I had gotten him somewhat calmed down, I applied some Young Living RutaVaLa Roll-On on the injury neat (undiluted), and that pretty much calmed him down the rest of the way.
About 15-30 minutes later the knot was still visible, and he still had some bruising. So I reapplied the RutaVaLa, and within minutes the knot had gone away almost completely!
Later in the day I reapplied again, and by the end of the day you could hardly tell he had hit his head. Before bed I applied just a dab of St. Maries Lavender to the practically nonexistent bruise, and when we woke up the next morning it was completely gone.
