Lavender used for road rash

My son fell off his bike and had road rash and two stitches on his chin. I had listened to Gary Young's tape telling how lavender was used accidently for burns so I thought the road rash was similar & within one week the scab came off and new clean skin was in place. It doesn't look like he will have any scars or even pigment loss like the ER Doctor had told us. My son didn't want any scars so he wore lavender to school and none of his friends said anything, he didn't care if it smelled and he is very happy with no scars!
