I live in Denver, which is 5,280 feet above sea level. Exercise can be hard on the lungs, especially in the winter. I started running about three years ago, and it was very difficult for me. Once I got into pretty good shape, it was still difficult to get my breathing consistent.
This past winter I started using a couple of drops of RC on my chest. Then I would cup my hands over my mouth and breathe it in. I have been doing this consistently before my run sessions, and it has helped immensely.
This has been most helpful during the winter when the cold air can really be hard on the lungs. I now keep a backup bottle of RC just in case. I can't imagine not having it when I am working out hard.
