About 2 months ago I bought a number of essential oils, hoping to address social anxiety, pure OCD (intrusive/cyclical/repetitive/distressing thoughts), and depression. The oils I purchased include:

Valor
Joy
RutaVaLa
Vetiver

I found the best results with Vetiver and Valor. I applied Vetiver under my nose and on the insides of my wrists twice daily. I put Valor on my big toes/wrists/solar plexus/nose whenever I felt the need (2 to 5 times a day in the beginning, now down to 1 to 2 times per day).

Joy was also sporadically employed on the base my throat and above my navel, although the scent was overpowering to me most days. RutaVaLa I diffused at night and applied to the bottoms of my feet, but I didn't notice a difference in the quality of my sleep.

Despite only being on this protocol for 2 months, I feel much more grounded, am able to break off cyclical thoughts more easily, and can engage in social interactions that would have previously left me feeling sick to my stomach and shaking (scheduling appointments alone, talking on the phone, asking for directions/information).

Suicidal thoughts have disappeared, and my mindset has naturally gravitated to a more positive outlook. Also, the low-grade generalized anxiety and rumination that would normally take place in the back of my head every waking moment has gone! I can't express what a relief it is to finally have some peace and quiet in my own head!

While I still struggle with big-time issues such as performance anxiety and socializing with strangers, the level of improvement on the day-to-day interactions integral to my ability to function in my job and in society has truly exceeded my expectations!
