Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In response to Mary Griggs, I fly in Australia and have been to Japan in recent times. I have never had a problem carrying my oils as hand luggage. I have mine in Ziploc bags, and at all security checks I remove them from the handbag to pass through the scanner. My understanding is the volume cannot add up to more than a liter, but apart from that I have not encountered any issues with airport security.

I always have Thieves on hand to use in my nostrils to stop any opportunist bugs from being inhaled, as it is an enclosed environment with recycled air. Peppermint is another oil I use during flights. All I need is some hot water, and I have an instant cup of tea. Delicious.
