Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
My 2-year-old has been eating organic strawberries for about a year now with no reaction. However, the other day I gave her a few organic Driscoll's strawberries, and within minutes she broke out with raised hives all over her face and body.
I grabbed Lavender and Peppermint and immediately applied liberally. Her skin was hot to the touch, and she began to whine and itch. After a few minutes, the hives were soothed but then went on to reappear on other parts of her body.
So I made a lotion with coconut oil, Lavender, and Peppermint and rubbed this over her entire body. I also applied Thieves to the bottoms of her feet. This went on for 3 days, but the oils kept her comfortable and helped her sleep at night.
The other thing I did was add a drop of Lemon oil to her water throughout the day to promote gut healing as well.
