I have sleeping issues . . . cannot turn my brain off at night to rest. The only thing that gave me relief was an over-the-counter medicine called SleepMD. The problem with that was that, if there was an emergency and I had to wake up sooner than 6 to 8 hours, it was as if I was "drugged".

I discovered a "bedtime rub" using Young Living essential oils that has solved this problem:

1/3 cup coconut oil
12 drops Lavender essential oil
12 drops Cedarwood essential oil
12 drops Peace & Calming essential oil

Whip it all together and store in a glass jar.

I rub one dab onto the bottom of each foot at bedtime, and I'm ready to fall asleep in about 10-15 minutes. If I'm awakened in the middle of the night, I can actually get up and function without feeling drugged.
