After I had used my essential oils for about a month, I decided to throw out all my old medicines (aspirin, throat lozenges, cold medications, etc.) because I knew the oils were capable of replacing these things. My daughter, a very skeptical teenager, came down with a high fever and asked where the aspirin was. When I told her I had thrown them out and asked if we could try some oils, she just rolled her eyes and reluctantly agreed.

I found that melaleuca oil was helpful for fevers and applied the oil (2 drops mixed with the V-6 mixing oil) on her back. About the third time I applied the oil upward on her back, I could feel her skin cool under my hand. When I took her temperature, she was back to normal. The most amazing thing was that it took about 5 minutes for this reaction after applying the oil. My skeptical teenager is now a young mother and wife who uses the oils faithfully on herself and her family and shares her experiences with her friends.
