Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My cat is 15 years old. When she was around 10 years old, she started getting sebaceous cysts on her back and tail. They would have an infected center, burst, dry out, shrivel up, and then fall off. Then after a few days, they would crop up again in the same area. We were assured that this was normal for older cats. They didn't seem to bother the cat unless we touched them directly while we were petting her. But I thought they were gross and it bothered me that she had little infected cysts on her that I couldn't do anything about. I had tried typical "human" remedies such as squeezing the cysts and applying peroxide, neosporin, and so forth, with no luck. The cysts just kept coming back.

We were introduced to essential oils about a year ago (when the cat was 14 years old) and we had great success using Frankincense on a variety of human skin conditions. One day, while petting my cat, I decided to try the Frankincense on her cysts. First, I applied a drop of Frankincense directly on each cyst. Then, I rubbed Frankincense into my hands and rubbed my hands all over her fur. I did this once a day for 3-4 days. After 3-4 days, the cysts were completely gone (no scabs, no scars).

Over the next few days and weeks, I kept checking to see if the cysts would grow back. It has been several months now and my cat hasn't had a single cyst.
