Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

I was bitten by a doberman on a Thursday morning Dec. 16th about 7 am. I was in horrible pain. It was quite unexpected and unprovoked but he bit me anyway.

My oldest son went for the aloe vera that we have growing in our garden, while I was moving my fingers to make sure that there were no broken bones in my hand. I was also washing the blood off. He put the aloe vera on it and bandaged it up. We then checked this website for what others did with Young Living oils. We don't have a lot in stock so we kept looking till we found a testimonial with what we have on hand.

We found out that Lavender and Peppermint worked good for dog bites. Since I have LavaDerm I used that on my hand about 2 hours after the attack. It took the stiffness out. I was able to make a fist. Not a tight one but I could move my fingers. I continued to put more on it when I noticed that it was stiffing up again. I also added a drop of Lavender and Peppermint oils.

I have been amazed again with how fast the oils work. At first there was some swelling but that was gone in a couple of days. I continued to use the LavaDerm until my hand was completely healed. It has been 11 days now since the episode and all that is left is a little scarring. I am using olive oil to take care of the scarring. I praise the Lord for the healing power of His plants and for Young Living Oils taken from those plants.

By the way, my Doberman, Rex, is very sorry and still loves me and I him.
