For as long as I can remember, I have experienced hormone-related emotional outbursts in the day or two before menstruation occurs. It is usually ends in me asking my husband, "Is there something wrong with me?" That happens pretty much every single month - you'd think I would learn!

My cycle started today and I was surprised! I had had no unusual behaviour in the past few days. In fact, I have been feeling much more peaceful than normal over the last 24 hours or so. I wondered why?

Then, when I was getting dressed I noticed my bottle of Sensation oil that I keep on my dressing table. I have been using it every day this week as a perfume. It suddenly dawned on me that it is very likely the reason for the change as the book I have says, "The oils in this blend may help it be effective for dealing with various problems related to the hormonal system and emotional balance." Obviously the fact that it smells feminine and provocative is just a bonus!
