I had a yeast infection break out on a Monday, the first day of a 5-day camping trip. My family and I were too far away from a store to drive to buy some Monistat-7, which is what I normally used to get rid of these annoying infections! Thankfully, I brought all my Young Living essential oils with me and wanted to treat this naturally using them instead of the M-7!
I got out my essential oils reference book and read the suggestion of internally taking Oregano oil, which I did 3 times a day (6-7 drops in a gelatin capsule). I also chose to dilute about 3 drops of the Purification oil blend in about half a teaspoon of coconut oil to apply topically.
After only the first day, I noticed that the discomfort of itching I had the previous day had significantly gone down and, by day 3, I had NO discomfort at all!
I was also very careful to steer away from carbohydrates and sugar in my diet. I was amazed! The oils will be my first "go-to" if I ever experience another infection!
