Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

We've been using Young Living oils for about 11 months for various things and have been especially grateful for how they have helped our 1.5 year old son.

We first used Thieves oil on him when he got the flu at 9 months. He was the last to get it in our family of 10 (prob because he's nursing and mommy was praying like crazy). As soon as he showed symptoms in the evening I borrowed some Thieves oil from a friend and started applying it to his feet every couple of hours or every time I felt like it. He had a fever, no cough, and nursed constantly for about 4 hours. Then his fever broke and he slept the rest of the night. He never coughed and I never had to see him suffer. No symptoms in the morning! We've used Thieves several other times since then when he gets slightly watery eyes or nose. He's never had a cold. It always goes away before fully surfacing.

One evening he started a barking croupy cough, no other symptoms, and that night he had terrible sounding strider (noise when breathing in) as soon as he fell asleep. It was a scary night but I kept praying and knew he was breathing okay so I kept diffusing Purification and Thieves and applying them to his neck and feet. I may have also used a cheaper Eucalyptus I had.

In the morning his breathing sounded mostly normal with occasional strider and occasional barking and he was happy and playing but definitely a little weak. I took off his clothes and brought him out in the hot sun and kept applying the oils I had. By afternoon he had no symptoms. The pediatrician said to continue the oils and that she could give him a steroid treatment if I was really worried but thought he would be fine.

So, the 2nd night he had a little strider as soon as he fell asleep but we slept pretty well, still applying Thieves and Purification and diffusing them. In the morning he had no symptoms but an occasional bark, no weakness, happy and playing! By the 3rd night, nothing!

Maybe 2 months later he barked a couple of times and I had the RC blend by then. I applied Thieves and RC to his feet and neck. Symptoms disappeared and he never had a strider. Yay!

His bowel movements have always been very infrequent while exclusively breastfeeding but when he started eating more solids around 15 months he slowed down to once every 7-8 days! I started using DiGize daily and now he goes almost every day, sometimes twice, usually in the potty!

I was concerned that he seemed a little tired sometimes and head sagging a little to the side around 15 months. I started applying Valor and Frankincense to his feet, especially big toe or neck and back. Immediately he perked up and started reaching for more things, getting up on hands and knees rocking, "talking" like crazy! I have also used Melissa oil by itself with the same results.

He had recently gotten a little ant poison/boric acid near his left eye and on the eyelid and I noticed it was looking very lazy the next day. I don't know if it had gotten it into his eye or not. I was very infrequently applying Lavender near the eye for a couple of days but it wasn't doing anything. When I started using Valor and Frankincense on him I noticed the next day that the eye was totally normal! I hadn't expected it to have any effect on the eye but it is totally tracking right along with the other one now!!!

We are so greatful for how God is using these oils to strengthen him and heal him!
