If I bump my lower lip, I will develop a cold sore or fever blister. Usually, this is a long 2 week process of getting it to break open, scab and then heal and it is often quite painful.
I woke up one morning with a huge blister on my lower lip and decided to consult the essential oils reference book. I put a dab of Melrose on it and felt some tingling.
A few hours later, I decided to use Oregano full strength on the blister. Within a few minutes, I felt a tingling sensation go all the way down to my chin.
That night I had to go out and while I was getting dressed, I looked in the mirror and realized that the blister was gone and I had no more pain and no scab.
A few weeks later, I bumped my lip again and did the same procedure with the same results. Now if I feel a cold sore coming on, I will apply either Melrose or Oregano immediately.
