Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Luca, my 12.5 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, had been taking Prednisone for five months because of a neck disc problem. The medication was taking a toll on his body. His liver panels showed that his liver was barely functioning.

I knew he liked NingXia Red cause he would look up at me and ask to lick my glass when it was empty. I began sharing my morning two ounces with him, about 1 tablespoon or less. After ten days he had another liver panel and it showed some improvement with his liver function.

We continued this for another ten days and the panel kept improving. The vet said to keep doing what I was doing and come back in another ten days. After a month of drinking NingXia, Red Luca's last liver panel showed that his liver was functioning properly and his energy improved over this period.

He is now off of Prednisone for a little over a month and walking and feeling great with more stamina too. We continue to toast every morning, "to our health," before we share our NingXia Red.

3.Associated topics: liver — "D-limonene is a major constituent in citrus essential oil.... Recently, d-limonene has been reported to alleviate fatty liver induced by a high-fat diet. 4.Associated topics: liver — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration."Link
5.Associated topics: dogs — "[T]opical fatty acids and essential oils are a useful treatment option for canine atopic dermatitis."Link
