Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
Last week my son showed me the back of his hand asking me what is this Mom? There was a perfect circle on the back of his hand with raised red dots which I do believe is Ringworm.
I read in my essential oils reference book that Thyme and Lemongrass are great antifungals.
I alternated Thyme oil 1-2 drops during the daytime and Lemongrass oil 1-2 drops, at night. Fortunately the infection is nearly gone in less than a week.
If your skin is sensitive it may be best to use a carrier oil 50-50 like coconut or olive oil to reduce discomfort. We did not need to do this for my son, but others might.
Additional keyword(s) assigned by the editor: fungus, tinea.
