Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In 2008 I became symptomatic with pain and debilitating fatigue. By 2009 my symptoms were so bad that I had to give up all of my commitments and nearly everything I enjoyed doing. Finally in 2010 I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia.

I have a wonderful healthcare provider who's goal was to teach me strategies to become a functional as possible. I made diet changes and we threw a lot of prescriptions at the symptoms. Even with the diet changes (which helped greatly) and the medications, I was still only functioning at about 80% on a good day.

In January of 2013 a dear friend gave me oils to try out. (Raindrop in a bottle, and Thieves). I took them home thinking, "Well, at least I'll smell good".

The Raindrop collection includes:

* Basil

*Cypress

* Marjoram

*Oregano

* Peppermint

* Thyme

* Wintergreen

Information on the Raindrop Technique can be found on the Young Living website.

I woke up the next morning for the first time in almost 5 years without any pain. Any of you who suffer from a chronic illness understand what a joyous occasion that was!

My interest piqued, I began to research more and attended a Healing Oils of the Bible class. After learning the history of oils and researching the chemistry of how they work I made notes and ordered ones that I thought would be most beneficial to Fibromyalgia patients. I also had a suggested blend recipe given to me so I ordered those oils too.

This is the first of March, 2013 and I no longer take any of my Fibromyalgia medication. This is a miracle to me as my breakfast only three months ago consisted of coffee and Hydrocodone. There are still times during the day where the ache will set in but when I compare this life to my life only a short while ago, I can see such a huge difference in the quality of my life.

It has been exciting to hear encouragement from those who know me and know of my diagnosis and have seen me go from a half-life to a fabulous life!

6.Associated topics: depression — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders.
