Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I want to give back since I have learned so much from reading these testimonials.

Here is my daily routine:

I put 5 drops of Grapefruit under my tongue. I love that this is a liver cleansing oil. This seems to have helped me to stay slim.

I also put 2 drops of Thieves on my tongue and leave it in my mouth and swoosh it around before swallowing. No flu shot and no flu with this routine.

I carry Grapefruit oil and Peppermint oil with me and add them to my water or hot water for a tea during the day.

Since the Rosewood shampoo is no longer available, I decided to make my own blend of shampoo. I add Peppermint to my shampoo to make my own blend. What the heck right? This has eliminated some hair loss from the combination of stress and menopause greatly. I also add Peace & Calming to my hair, something I learned from this website.

At night, I dab any red marks or acne with Frankincense. The next day, I am free from acne. I put Cedarwood on my face first and then my moisturizer. Amazingly soft skin.

I make my own bath salts by adding Clary Sage, Lavender and Peace & Calming.

Overall I feel better than I have in a long time. Good self care! Oh I forgot to tell you that I take Sulfurzyme capsules because I love to jog.

Thank you Young Living Essential Oils!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: influenza — "Taken together, we found an essential oil blend [Orange, Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus, and Rosemary] notably attenuates influenza virus PR8 infection in vitro via inhibition of viral protein synthesis at the post-transcription level. The lack of toxicity and potent specific inhibition ability make the essential oil a possible antiviral drug for influenza virus proliferation control and treatment."Link
2.Associated topics: hair-loss-(alopecia),acne — "Eyelid scrubs or massage with tea tree oil could be an effective treatment regimen in cases of blepharoconjunctivitis [and Demodex mite infestation]."Link
3.Associated topics: weight-loss — "Z. officinale [ginger] has been used to control diabetes and dyslipidemia [high cholesterol].... The marked rise in body weights, glucose, insulin, total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, triglycerides, free fatty acids and phospholipids in serum of the rats that followed 6 weeks of high-fat diet treatment were significantly reduced by Z. officinale treatment.... The present results provide scientific evidence to substantiate the traditional use of Z. officinale in preventing metabolic disorders."Link
4.Associated topics: joints — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
5.Associated topics: joints — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
6.Associated topics: acne — "Tea tree oil... has become increasingly popular as an antimicrobial for the treatment of conditions such as tinea pedis [athlete’s foot] and acne....[T]ea tree oil can reduce histamine-induced skin inflammation."Link
7.Associated topics: acne — "Topical 5% tea tree oil is an effective treatment for mild to moderate acne vulgaris.... Tea tree oil has broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory activity in vitro. These properties have formed the basis of its use in the treatment of a range of superficial dermatoses such as cuts, insect bites, boils, and dermatophytosis [ringworm]."Link
8.Associated topics: acne — "[W]e suggest that Geumgamja [Korean Citrus obovoides] and Cheonyahagyul [Citrus natsudaidai] essential oils are attractive acne-mitigating candidates for topical application... against acne-inducing bacteria."Link
