Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My 20 year old daughter called me with severe pain surrounding her wisdom teeth that had been erupting over the last several months. She said literally overnight they started causing severe pain and she couldn't wait to have them removed as soon as possible.

She had found a regular dentist on her own and had an appointment, but when she got there she decided not to proceed, even though the surgeon was available and could perform the extraction right then and there.

I had told her that a holistic dentist could provide the best care because that type of provider would remove the periodontal ligament underneath the tooth to help prevent a cavitation later in life.

Also, many holistic dentists do not use heavy metals, fluoride or toxic composite materials; and they provide important procedures such as a thyroid guard during x-rays.

The first dentist she saw said he would not remove the ligament and he avoided discussing it further by quickly changing the subject. When he made the comment that she "had done her homework" she became firm in her decision to switch to a truly holistic dentist instead of allowing this clinic to proceed with any treatment.

She had been struggling with an abscess that was now in my opinion, compounding her issue with her wisdom tooth. When I discovered that her wisdom tooth was infected I realized the abscess that she had been trying to ignore, was probably contributing to this infection.

We went to work with the oils she had on hand. She told me she had been using Peppermint, and the pain was dulled but still pretty much constant. Since she shared that the Q-Tip she used with the Peppermint came out bloody I figured there was an infection back there, so we switched oils and used her very last drop of the Thieves oil blend.

She applied the drop using a glass dropper and commented about the bad taste. I reminded her that bad taste is better then bad pain.

Then her throat started to burn so I instructed her to swish some coconut oil. The coconut oil quelled the burning, which I told her was a result of the infection being killed off. Within one minute the pain from the swelling and infection was subsiding!

At this point I stopped giving her direction and asked her to just stop doing anything and feel the relief. We both became overwhelmed with tears of relief and joy. I asked her to quantify the change in her symptoms.

She told me her pain had been at a 10 on a scale of 1-10 for 4 days. Now it was at a 6 with ONE drop of Thieves oil! Praise Yahovah! He is our Great Physician.

My last bit of instruction was for her to use the Valor oil in between the shoulder blades on the 'white blood cells' point for the emotion of "inability to cope". When we have oils on hand we can reap the benefits emotionally, physically and spiritually.

She will now go forward with her appointment with the surgeon the holistic dentist suggested. I was so pleased with her decision to avoid an untrained, ADA dentist and find someone who would protect her overall health.

This new oral surgeon will remove the periodontal ligament and clean out the bone to prevent issues later in life. My daughter will use encapsulated Thyme and Oregano oil as her antibiotic along with Thieves mouthwash and the PanAway oil blend for pain.

I'm so grateful for the Young Living essential rewards program as I am able to send her everything she needs and only pay for overnight shipping. I have a feeling she will be a top producer in my downline as her testimonial shines forth!

Also, the knowledge that she will have from her exam and surgery with much less pain and swelling is amazingly gratifying. Neither of us could imagine her having to go in for an exam in the state she was in, let alone the fear surrounding an oral surgery.

She is also aware that cavities are reversible. I am thrilled to use Essential Rewards points to order Mineral Essence to go with the protocol to reverse cavities. I have a feeling her oral care will become much more effective in the future. God is good!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: antibiotic — "As proven in vitro, essential oils [Eucalyptus, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Thyme, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Sage] represent a cheap and effective antiseptic topical treatment option even for antibiotic-resistant strains [such] as MRSA and antimycotic [antifungal]-resistant Candida species."Link
2.Associated topics: abscessed-tooth,dental,tooth-/-teeth,gums — Study 1: "[Oil pulling] would benefit the general population by giving more confidence in the ancient practices, thus preventing tooth decay and loss." Study 2: "Oil pulling therapy has been equally effective like chlorhexidine on halitosis and organisms, associated with halitosis." Study 3: "The oil pulling therapy showed a reduction in the plaque index, modified gingival scores, and total colony count of aerobic microorganisms in the plaque of adolescents with plaque-induced gingivitis." Study 4: "Oil pulling can be used as an effective preventive adjunct in maintaining and improving oral health." Study 5: "The myth that the effect of oil-pulling therapy on oral health was just a placebo effect has been broken, and there are clear indications of possible saponification and emulsification process, which enhances its mechanical cleaning action."Link
3.Associated topics: abscessed-tooth,dental,tooth-/-teeth,gums — "Both clove and benzocaine gels had significantly lower mean pain scores than placebos. No significant difference was observed between clove and benzocaine regarding pain scores. Clove gel might possess a potential to replace benzocaine as a topical [anesthetic] agent before needle insertion."Link
