This season, I have had several days of headaches stemming from the sinuses, causing pain behind the eyes, and above and below the eyes.
After a facial reflexology class one evening, I took just a drop or two of Thieves essential oil and applied it using the four fingertips of each hand to my face, gently tapping the sinus areas on each side of the nose and just above the eyebrows.
Every time I've done this, I have felt like the tightness in the sinuses just loosens within moments. Be sure to avoid the eyes, of course. Peppermint also does the job, but I have had better results with Thieves. I feel the peppermint is too strong for most people to manage in such close proximity to the eyes.
