My sheltie had a partially torn ligament and/or a bad sprain to his knee. The vet I use is starting to use Young Living Essential Oils. When I went there I told the vet I was giving Oreo Sulferzyme, BLM twice a day, and I was putting on his knee the following oils two to three times a day approx 5-6 drops each: PanAway, cypress, wintergreen and took Deep Relief with us on our walks and applied if Oreo showed discomfort.

Also I put the Raindrop oils in a bottle with a roller cap and rolled it down his spine. I took Oreo back for a follow up and now Oreo's knee is better after about a month.
