Trauma Life helped my grandson with stress

My daughter and son-in-law adopted a 3 year old boy who had been the victim of abuse in his early life. His mother and father were both addicted to drugs and his mother left him at a very young age. He and his father lived in a car and the father was very abusive. Social services took him away and he was with a foster family until the adoption. He became very stressed and cried easily when voices were raised or he was corrected for anything. He was hyperactive and couldn't sit still. He is now 7 and the stress was getting to everybody.
