Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I want to share how I had weaned my husband off an anti-depressant called Paxil.

He has fought for years trying to quit this nasty little pill, but we all knew he needed something different. This drug had many side effects.

Young Living has some great supplements out there with many oils and natural ingredients in their products. It took several months but we were able to do it successfully.

I want to say that Young Living did work for us. We wanted to stay within our budget and did not want to put such a big order together so I thought I'd try another company, but it turned out to not be the same at all, the supplements are not at all equal. He took a dive and things got terrible. I have him back on Young Living and will continue these oils and supplements.

I began by giving him 3/4 of a pill for 2 weeks, then cut to 1/2 then to 1/4 every 2 weeks. While reducing his pill I supplemented him with OmegaGize, PD 80/20, and Multi Greens. I followed the dosage recommendations and these were the main supplements. I also had him on Super B, every other day and he also was taking AgilEase for other issues.

He takes AgilEase but once a day and not as recommended. If it calls for 3 a day he's only getting 2 in the am.

With the supplements I use on him, whenever I am able I use a couple of drops of the Peace & Calming oil blend toward the evening, on wrists or on the soles of his feet. He will take a drop or two of Lemon oil in his water and I also will use Orange around him here and there.

I am sharing this as I have seen a HUGE difference that these Young Living supplements and oils have had on my husband. He had been on that little pink pill for over 15 years and now on to a more healthy way of dealing with his life.

Supporting Scientific Studies

This study further implies that HRV could evaluate the efficacy of aromatherapy using various fragrances to relieve premenstrual symptoms, and ultimately, support the mind and body health of women."Link

4.Associated topics: mood, emotions, anxiety, depression — "Beta-Caryophyllene [component of cannabis, clove, copaiba], a CB2 [cannabinoid] receptor agonist produces multiple behavioral changes relevant to anxiety and depression in mice.... these preclinical results suggest that CB2 receptors may provide alternative therapeutic targets for the treatment of anxiety and depression. The possibility that BCP may ameliorate the symptoms of these mood disorders offers exciting prospects for future studies."Link
5.Associated topics: mood, stress, anxiety, depression — "A number of essential oils are currently in use as aromatherapy agents to relieve anxiety, stress, and depression. 6.Associated topics: mood, stress, anxiety, depression — "Most studies, as well as clinically applied experience, have indicated that various essential oils, such as lavender, lemon and bergamot can help to relieve stress, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Most notably, inhalation of essential oils can communicate signals to the olfactory system and stimulate the brain to exert neurotransmitters (e.g. serotonin and dopamine), thereby further regulating mood."Link
7.Associated topics: stress, anxiety, depression — "The ylang ylang oil caused a significant decrease of blood pressure and a significant increase of skin temperature. At the behavioral level, subjects in the ylang ylang oil group rated themselves more calm and more relaxed than subjects in the control group. These findings are likely to represent a relaxing effect of the ylang ylang oil and provide some evidence for the usage of the ylang ylang oil in aromatherapy such as causing a relief of depression and stress in humans."Link
8.Associated topics: mood, emotions, stress, anxiety — "Lavender essential oil has been used as an anxiolytic [anxiety] drug, a mood stabilizer, a sedative, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antihypertensive [high blood pressure], antimicrobial, analgesic [pain] agent as well as a wound healing accelerator....
