A few years ago my step-son's grandfather came to visit. At the time, he was a heavy smoker and had a horrible cough. He could hardly talk to us without coughing.

I asked him if he would be open to trying something a little unconventional for that cough. He said: "Sure!"

I put two drops of the Thieves oil blend in a tablespoon of honey. I meant to put only one drop, but the 2nd one fell out onto the spoon; so he got two drops. I told him to just let the spoonful of honey gently slide down his throat.

His coughing was significantly decreased. BUT probably the most significant result was that he slept through the night without coughing! And he did not get up during the night to have a cigarette.

He said he didn't remember when he'd ever slept so soundly.
