I burn quickly in the sun. The SPF numbers are the minutes I might survive if it is not midday. One day shortly after purchasing the Essential 7 kit, I was trapped in the sun for 2+ hours and knew I would blister and be ill. I used my store bought 'most respected brand' of Lavender on one arm and the new Young Living Lavender on the other.

In the morning, I realized the Young Living Lavender arm hadn't hurt and appeared normal. the other arm was blistered, bright red and painful. After two more days of use, it had gotten worse if anything, so I belatedly used my new oil with relief instantly. Redness and blisters lasted a while longer.

Lavender is the first oil to think of and carry with you. It is the one I always use when I am not aware of a more specific oil. Among other uses, I have improved mood, stress reactions, sleep, strep throat, congestion, rashes, bruises and wounds with Young Living Lavender.
