I was packing up my massage table to take to Masterclass training in Raindrop Technique, (RDT), when I accidentally caught my little finger in the vice grip that secures the head crest in place. Yes, I was in a rush!
The whole side of my hand quickly numbed and throbbed with pain. The actual site of the injury blackened. I couldn't bend my outer fingers at all. Not a good omen for intensive RDT training that weekend!
Before I swore too many times, I ran to get my PanAway, and placed about 4 drops on the injury site. The pain eased almost immediately. I watched the blackness of the bruising disappear before my eyes. After about ten minutes, I could bend my fingers again.
I re-applied PanAway once more, about half an hour later. By this time, it was difficult to see where the injury had been.
We had a challenging, exciting, absoutely amazing RDT Masterclass training weekend. My hand was totally fine to perform all the moves with no discomfort at all.
Did I mention 'absolutely amazing'?
