Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I was applying a few drops of Frankincense oil 3-4 times/daily to a dry, flaky bump on my forehead and as I expected, it became more pronounced (nearly dime size, raised and red with lesions).

On my children's insistence I went to a dermatologist and had it biopsied. This particular doctor is married to an osteopath and being exposed to alternative ideas, he encouraged me to continue using my essential oil. The biopsy showed it to be a squamous cell carcinoma.

By the time I got back in for a follow up appointment 3 weeks later, the bump and lesions were gone and only a small flat spot remained. The nurse and a new doctor checked my forehead, comparing it to the photos in the notes in disbelief.

I told this new doctor about the Frankincense half expecting an attitude. Instead he listened and then surprised me when he suggested we look it up on the Kaiser Permanente natural medicine website. Sure enough, there it was, Young Living Frankincense Essential Oil.

He was fascinated and agreed that what I was doing seemed to be the best course of action. He took a bunch of photos and told me he'd be reading up on Frankincense. I promised I would come back if it changed for the worse.

All that remains is the slightest white scar at my hairline.
