Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have four children, all of which have suffered numerous bouts with the croup, which resulted in me finally obtaining a nebulizer from our physician so that I could treat it at home. Usually when my kids get croup, it begins in the middle of the night, with the most severe cases needing one, sometimes two breathing treatments and sitting outside in the cold air for a while. It usually takes at least an hour before they are breathing well enough to get back to sleep.

About 3 weeks ago, my youngest woke me up in the middle of the night having a difficult time breathing. She is not easily scared and has been through this before, but this was more serious than usual, and I could see it in her face and eyes...she was really scared.

I have only been doing oils for a few months, but I decided to try them before pulling out the nebulizer...and I was figuring that this would be a 2 treatment episode if we had to resort to that.

I placed Peace & Calming directly over her throat, on her right big toe, and then put Thieves on her right big toe as well. Her breathing was NORMAL in 5 minutes, and the barking cough was gone!!!! I really couldn't believe it! AND...she was able to sleep through the rest of the night without any more applications!!!!

The next day, she had 2 more episodes, but they were very mild, so I did the same thing again. I also gave her warm water with Thieves, Lemon and honey 2-3 times during the day. By that evening the croupy barking cough was GONE! The croupy cough usually occurs a few nights in a row, but we had no more night issues.

I continue to be amazed at what these oils can do. I am just reminded over and over again how much God so lovingly cares for us...He gives everything we need!
