My daughter recently had a severe diaper rash associated with teething.

I put 10-15 drops of Lavender oil in an 8 oz spray bottle and filled with room temperature water.

I sprayed the mix right on her bottom (the cool water seemed to provide immediate relief).

This worked better and faster than the diaper rash cream I had been using!
