I was running errands, got out of the car, stepped on the curb a little too quickly and in an instant... slipped, twisted my ankle, and landed both feet on the ground.

By the time I was back home my right lower leg and ankle were beginning to hurt and swell.

I gently massaged the area with Lavender oil, applied an ice pack and lifted it up on a chair piled high with pillows. It was excruciatingly painful to move it by then.

I decided to do the Vita-flex Technique with the 'Raindrop' oils - around the ankle and up the shin.

The oils I used:
- Basil
- Cypress
- Marjoram
- Oregano
- Thyme
- Wintergreen
- Peppermint and
- PanAway

(They are all available together in the Raindrop Technique kit). One oil at a time, I began to apply the oils. Here's how to do it:

Put a few drops of the oil on your fingertips and begin to Vita Flex. This is an easy technique anyone can do.

Place the fingertips over the ankle and bobble the fingertip back and forth over the area, being sure to go all the way around the ankles and anywhere else that's swollen and inflamed.

I did this once, and then an hour later somehow managed to get myself up the stairs and into bed.

By this time my ankle was completely swollen and purple. I called down and asked my husband to bring the oils upstairs and repeated the Vita Flex technique with the oils a second time.

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the pain, but fell right asleep and slept through the night.

When I woke up in the morning, it was as though nothing had happened. My ankle was completely back to normal.
And it's been normal ever since!

My husband said, "You better write this one down - someone's going to need it."

Do it with love. Be kind and forgiving to yourself and your body. Accept the healing energies of the oils with love and appreciation.
