Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Long story short, I fell while on vacation. Fortunately I travel with my oils. I injured my hip and immediately had severe pain in it. I also hit my forearm and side of my head on a rock.

I had left my oils in the hotel that day. I've heard Gary say, "If you don't have what you need, use what you have". All I had in my purse was a homemade bug spray. I applied that to the injury on my forearm which I'd scraped pretty badly.

That evening I soaked in an epsom salts bath, and then layered on the following oil blends: Deep Relief Roll-on, Aroma Siez, Relieve It, Valor, PanAway and then the single oils: Copaiba, Oregano, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Idaho Balsam Fir, Lavender and Peppermint

That night I woke up in so much pain, I truly though I'd broken my hip. I applied the same oils again and was able to fall back asleep.

The next morning it was still very sore, but I applied the oils again. Each time I applied them I started with Deep Relief and ended with Peppermint to drive all the oils in. The pain became less and less and in just a couple of days it was almost gone.

I never applied any oils to the side of my head, because it was the least of my worries. The bump and pain lasted about 2 weeks. The place on my arm where I'd applied the bug spray, healed VERY quickly. What I didn't realize is that the bone was bruised as well as the other side of my arm. Once I started applying the PanAway blend to that bruise it disappeared within a couple of days.

My latest theory is to hit a problem hard, use any oils you MIGHT think will help. If you apply one that really doesn't help, there will be no harmful side effects. In this case I used anything I thought would help for pain or inflammation. It was really quite miraculous how quickly I got over the hip pain, because I thought I was going to have to tell my friend we needed to cut our vacation short... the pain was that severe.

Praise God for the oils He created for our benefit, and thanks to Gary for getting them to us.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: bones — "Common herbs, essential oils, and monoterpenes potently modulate bone metabolism.... we investigated several common herbs rich in essential oils (sage, rosemary, and thyme) and essential oils extracted from these herbs and other plants (oils of sage, rosemary, juniper, pine, dwarf pine, turpentine, and eucalyptus) as well as their monoterpene components (thujone, eucalyptol, camphor, borneol, thymol, alpha-pinene, beta-pinene, bornylacetate as well as menthol) and found that they inhibit bone resorption.... Our study demonstrates for the first time that essential oils and monoterpenes are efficient inhibitors of bone resorption...."Link
2.Associated topics: bones — "Results of bone density, bone mineral content, bone tensile strength and histological analysis also showed similar trend of results, which supported initial observations of this study. It is proposed that hydroalcoholic extract of dried clove buds has bone-preserving efficacy against hypogonadal [hormonally deficient] osteoporosis."Link
