Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I had vaginal thrush symptoms as well as bladder and kidney symptoms. I used oils that had antibiotic effects. The concurrent thrush was really bad this time, and required a douche to feel any relief initially.

Oils were used on a tampon after a douche. I used a warm chamomile tea douche twice daily (using a ten ml syringe) in the first few days, and reduced it to once daily to alternate days as the symptoms cleared.

In between the douche, I would wear a tampon soaked in essential oils, for 6-8 hrs at a time. The blend of oils that I made up and used were: 30 mls macadamia nut oil with 10 drops of the Melrose oil blend, 8 drops of Rosemary, 10 drops of Geranium, and 5 drops of Lavender.

Of course I also increased my NingXia Red juice intake to two and three sachets daily, increased fluids and wholesome food.

This sure fixed it for that episode and thankfully I have balanced my days and energy better since without repeating this scenario.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: candida — "As proven in vitro, essential oils [Eucalyptus, Melaleuca Alternifolia, Thyme, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Cinnamon, Grapefruit, Clove, Sandalwood, Peppermint, Sage] represent a cheap and effective antiseptic topical treatment option even for antibiotic-resistant strains [such] as MRSA and antimycotic [antifungal]-resistant Candida species."Link
2.Associated topics: bladder — "[Tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia)] oil has been found effective in chronic cystitis."Link
3.Associated topics: kidneys — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
4.Associated topics: bladder — "Frankincense oil appears to distinguish cancerous from normal bladder cells and suppress cancer cell viability. Microarray and bioinformatics analysis proposed multiple pathways that can be activated by frankincense oil to induce bladder cancer cell death. Frankincense oil might represent an alternative intravesical agent for bladder cancer treatment."Link
5.Associated topics: candida — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
6.Associated topics: candida — "It is suggested that the in vivo effect of tea tree oil ointment in the therapy of fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes as well as in the treatment of dandruff, a mild form of seborrheic dermatitis, may be at least partly due to an antifungal activity of tea tree oil."Link
