How I got through the Flu

I have a testimony I'd like to share about my recent bout with the flu that was fast wanting to become pneumonia.

I haven't had a flu shot in years and I also haven't had the flu in years but I got hit with the full blown deal recently. I didn't get really sick until I'd had a sore throat for a couple of days and I didn't feel tired enough to stay in bed either. I wonder if that had something to do with BYJ and the oils?? Anyway I did finally get pretty sick with fever, severe coughing, etc. Previously when I've had this type of illness (before I went fully into holistic care that is) I would use cough syrup, flu remedies, Tylenol, you name it -YUCK! But not this time.

This time I decided to heed my symptoms, allow them to work in my body naturally, and rather than suppress the symptoms I just embraced them. Sounds funny but that was what I did. I increased my BYJ for starters. Then I used a series of the oils to help me. I took Thieves internally and also Citrus Fresh. I drank a LOT of water too. Then on my chest and throat I applied these oils in a 50-50 dilution: Oregano, Peppermint, Melrose, and Frankincense. I rubbed that on my chest and throat twice a day.

Within 3 days I had no more fever, the congestion was really breaking up making
my cough productive and I was on my way to wellness again. I think the ONLY reason I even got the flu in the first place is because I was going through a detox from the oils so my immune system was a bit vulnerable. Otherwise I don't think the flu would've stood a chance in my body! I inhaled the oils, took them
internally and applied them. One more thing: I did not have to stay in bed feeling like I was dying, LOL! Nope I took a nap, stayed in bed later than normal too, and wasn't able to exercise of course, but I was able to do my regular chores pared down a bit and keep on top of my home business. That has NEVER happened to me before I used BYJ and the oils.
