Thieves for sore throat and terrible cold

My family and some of my friends have been fighting a terrible cold and sore throat for over a week before I became aware of Young Living Essential Oils. In fact, I just learned of them 10 days ago! I went to my first meeting last week in Houston, and it was informative and GREAT! My husband and friend (who is a massage therapist and occupational therapist) came with me.

That night we obtained 2 bottles, one of Theives and one of Peace and Calming. The next day I gave my daughter and myself a glass of water with one drop of Theives in it. WOAH, what a punch! I read the ingredients and decided to try it that way first! LOL the taste was good, just spicey. BUT the next day my daughter's sore throat and sinus infection/cold was completely gone!!! This is something she had been very sick with for over a week and I was about to take her to the doctor. My cold went away within 48 hours, and it had been a miserable cold too, so I am so greatful.

I understand this product cannot treat/prevent disease per the FDA regulations. I am only sharing my personal experience in using it. I am not even sure if others have used it in this manner, but it worked for us.

The other thing I have done with oils is I mixed 1/2 a cup of olive oil tonight with 3 drops of lavander and 3 of my children (ages 12, 5 and 20 months) rubbed it on themselves after bathing. They smelled so good, and their skin was very soft. They are sleeping very well at the moment, no tossing and turning. I made sure my daugher slathered the mixture on her Eczema (the 12 yr old), and I told her to reapply it in the morning before going to school. I'll keep you posted. Any and all suggestions would be great. Thanks!
