Itchy chicken pox from the local day care

My 4 year old granddaughter came down with chicken pox this past week as have many children at her day care where her mom works.

I read some testimonies of what to do to help with the itch as she was getting really annoyed. I gave her a bath in epsom salts with a few drops of lavender essential oil. She had no problem all day with the itch.

Then I read about combining some calamine lotion with some lavender oil. She is a very happy little girl without itching.
