Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

Recently my husband had surgery on his knee to repair a ligament. To make better room for the ligament the bone next to it had to be shaved off a bit. The doctor sent my husband home with a narcotic drug to help with the pain which made my husband very sick.

I immediately started rubbing the PanAway and Copaiba oil blends on his foot to help with the pain. Every time he complained of pain I would rub more oil on.

The next morning he was markedly better. I continued with the oils that day and by the second day he was no longer complaining of pain.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis, arthritis — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints, osteoarthritis, arthritis — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: joints,surgery-(post-operative) — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
4.Associated topics: surgery-(post-operative) — "[T]he influence of essential oils (mainly tea tree, lavender, chamomile, thyme and ocimum [basil] oils) on wound healing and their potential application in clinical practice."Link
