Lavender used on a cut and a rash

Well, the first personal experience I had with essential oils was the day I got my Young Living Success Kit in the mail! I had this deep cut on the side of my thumb at the edge of my fingernail. My fingers get really dry in the winter and they crack. It had been there for at least 2 weeks. So, i decided, 'what the hey'...'my first experiment!' I dropped one drop on my thumb, and some of it fell onto my leg.i had been itching furiously for weeks-on just the bottoms of my legs. Felt like fire when i scratched - I hadn't realized that I probably had poisonous something or other and not known and continued to spread it. So immediately my thumb and my burning leg stopped hurting.

I decided to try some on the rest of only that leg to see if it made a difference or not. I hadn't been putting anything at all on my legs because i couldn't figure out what on earth it was. 20 minutes later, I looked down at my thumb and my skin had totally closed up. You could no longer see into my skin. It really freaked me out. I continued to apply the lavender neat on my legs and the rash went away within a week! I love lavender!
