Husband cut finger very deep with a knife.

My husband was cutting up some meat that we were going to have at a BBQ. On the last piece that he cut, he came down and cut the tip of his finger, through the nail, all the way down to the bone. I was grabbing my keys to take him to the hospital because it was so deep. He said he did not want to go and asked me for some of that Lavender oil I was always talking about. As of this point, my husband still did not believe in the oils, like I do. I gave it to him, and he put it on his finger. It bled real bright for a couple of seconds. After putting pressure on the wound for a couple of minutes, he checked it out, and it had stopped bleeding. He used some surgical tape to keep the wound wrapped.

After a week of puting the oil on 5-6 times a day, he changed the tape. When he took it off, there was no scab. It was healing from the inside out, which contradicts how my wounds healed with out oils. At this point it was about 80% healed. He continued for another couple of weeks of putting the oil on. After that it was completely healed, without stitches. Another interesting fact is that he never lost his fingernail. He had cut it through the cuticle to the tip of the nail. Today, about 6 years later, there is no visible scar. This was how my husband finally believed in the oils. Thank you, Gary Young!!
