Lemon oil is Amazing! After we discovered that my son had dropped chewing gum onto the carpet in our car, we used Lemon oil to remove it. First we pulled up as much gum as we could from the carpet. We then applied 8-10 drops of oil directly on the gum, and with our fingernail, we rubbed the oil into the gum. Once it softened the gum, we used our fingernail to scrape and remove the gum off the carpet. Not only did it take the gum away, but it gave the car a great Lemon smell.
