A few weeks ago I sprained my left ankle, twisting it badly while at home, just prior to leaving to pick up my children. The muscles felt too pulled to walk on, were very painful to the touch, and a large "egg" had started to form just beneath the ankle bone. Not having time to ice, I instinctively grabbed my Lavender, applying 4 drops, tapping it into the skin lightly, and reapplying until the skin would take no more, about 16-20 drops in all.
The pain subsided IMMEDIATELY, though the ankle was still sore to walk on, so I went very cautiously. About an hour later, after arriving home, I propped the foot up, and the "egg" was GONE. Also, the ankle never did bruise at all. I still did some PT exercises for it and stretched a lot to ensure a full recovery, but the Lavender saved me!
