Infected tooth avoided root canal from dentist

Several years ago I awoke with horrid pain and swelling in jaw, neck and around a tooth. Upon going to a dentist which I feared. He said, a root canal (which I could not afford) or pull the tooth.

I wanted to keep my tooth and said no to both of which the Dentist said your going to be in so much pain you'll be calling back today and smirked. I applied 3 drops of Thieves and Peppermint to a gauze and rotated it back and forth to each side of the tooth. (This is hot and will make your eyes water) I put the same amount of drops over the swelling to outside of jaw applying very warm moist heat several times a day.

At night I applied the oils to gauze placed inside jaw against tooth and applying during the night if awakened by pain. By morning the pain and swelling was reduced. I did this daily a little less often each day by 7 days all pain and swelling was gone.

I continued for another week applying 1 drop of each oil inside and outside once a day and night just to be sure it was under control.

I did receive a letter from my dentist asking if I had gone to a different dentist being unsatisfied with him he would like to talk to keep me as a patient. LOL
The tooth did try to flare up 6 months later and I attacked it at first sign applied just the oils and was gone the next day but continued with the oils for a week.

This year Christmas 2010 I had another tooth swell up out of the gum where I could not shut my mouth and swelling in the jaw, very painful. This time I had clove on hand and does it take the pain away. I added it to Thieves and Peppermint did the same protocol with faster results. At any signs of feeling the tooth or slight pain I put Clove on right away to make sure the issue is resolved.

I learned years ago just because something feels better it is still a good idea to continue longer with the oils to make sure it is healed.
