I had some sensitivity around my gumline and asked my dental hygienist about it during a cleaning. She said that my gums were receding and that nothing could be done about it because it was just one of those things that happens as you age.

At that point in time, I had been using Dentarome Plus toothpaste for about a month and decided to add a drop of Melrose oil to my toothbrush about three times a week.

Seven months later at my next cleaning, I experienced very little sensitivity. I asked my hygienist if the gums were still receding and she said that they were not receding at all. I don't think she remembered the condition of my gums at my last cleaning.

She also said that there was very little plaque on my teeth and that there was minimal bleeding. She told me that my gums were in great shape - good color and tight around the base of the teeth and not puffy and swollen, which is a sign of infection.
